Join us Monday to Thursday from 6:02pm to 7:30pm for our featured Cocktail of the Moment (£10), served with complimentary chef’s bar snacks in the stylish surroundings of 1802.

Perfect for after-work drinks, spontaneous catch-ups, pre-dinner moments, or simply one beautiful cocktail before the evening begins.

Every Sunday indulge in a delicious Sunday lunch, prepared by our talented chefs, the Sunday Roast will feature the Head Chef’s choice of meats (vegetarian option available too), served alongside a generous spread of sharing-style sides, including crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, rich gravy, and, of course, freshly made Yorkshire puddings.

 Our lounge is your office for the day. Swap the kitchen table for comfort at 1802.

For £20 you can enjoy unlimited tea & coffee, unlimited iced water, a large bottle of still or sparkling water, superfast Wi-Fi, comfortable lounge seating, a coffee for an additional guest, plus a sandwich from our lounge menu!

We celebrated Burns Night in True Scottish Style

Guests were invited to commemorate Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, with a night of traditional Scottish food, drink, and music in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

The Burns Night event offered a truly authentic experience, with a festive arrival, where guests were greeted by the stirring sound of live bagpipes and a glass of fizz in the lounge. Following the traditional Address to the Haggis, and a toast with a dram of Scottish whisky, a three-course meal will be served in our restaurant, featuring quintessentially Scottish dishes.

Under the guidance of expert florists, guests learned step by step how to craft your very own beautiful Christmas wreath – the perfect decoration to take home and hang on your door for the festive season. All materials were provided, and no experience was necessary – just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed, festive afternoon.

Their festive wreaths are especially popular, making them the perfect partners to help you create something truly special this Christmas.

We stepped into the shadows this Halloween and it was an unforgettable night at the 1802 Halloween Supper Club: Nightmare at 1802.

On Halloween, we’re transformed 1802 Lounge & Grill into a haunted speakeasy for one night only — with eerie elegance, indulgent dining, and a few ghostly surprises along the way.

We celebrated summer and the closing weekend of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a sizzling BBQ on the terrace at 1802 Lounge & Grill!

Freshly grilled burger or hot dog served with crisp coleslaw – all for just £10, which also secured guests a seat on our cosy, heated, and covered terrace (because let’s be honest, the Scottish weather keeps us on our toes). 

Great food, chilled vibes, and the perfect setting to wind down after a whirlwind month of performances, parties, and Fringe fun.

We turned ONE! And with BBQ season upon us we took the party outside... Burgers, hot dogs, an Innis & Gunn pop-up bar, and Raasay cocktails.

It was a fantastic afternoon celebrating one year of 1802 Lounge & Grill and we thank everyone who came down to celebrate with us!

It was a unique and indulgent evening as 1802 Lounge & Grill teamed up with the renowned cheesemongers at Mellis for an exclusive Cheese & Wine Tasting. This special event offered the perfect chance for cheese and wine enthusiasts to learn from the very best in the business.

Hosted by Mellis themselves, the event featured 6 carefully selected cheeses, each perfectly paired with 3 exquisite wines. Their passionate host will guided guests through the informal, informative tasting, helping them discover new flavours and combinations.

We hosted a special Easter Weekend Afternoon Tea in Lounge on Saturday, 19th April. Guests indulged in a selection of delicious treats in our cosy and elegant lounge,

It was a luxurious afternoon filled with delicious food and drinks in a relaxing atmosphere. 

Guests enjoyed a luxurious afternoon in the elegant surroundings of 1802 Lounge & Grill for our first-ever Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. The beautifully curated menu featured classic scones, delicate open sandwiches, savoury bites, and an array of delicious cakes, all crafted to perfection.

From traditional favourites like Victoria sponge to vibrant macarons and chocolate-dipped strawberries, every bite was a delight.

This was our first-ever Afternoon Tea, and we loved every moment of it! We can’t wait to continue this tradition and bring you more indulgent afternoon tea experiences in the future. Stay tuned for what’s next at 1802 Lounge & Grill!

We kicked off the very first of many 1802 Supper Club events, and what better way to begin than by celebrating British Pie Week! 

We served up some delicious pies, that aren't usually on our menu:

• Chicken & Leek Pie – Creamy and comforting, the ultimate savoury treat. Served with mash, tenderstem broccoli and gravy.
• Braised Beef Short Rib Pie – Tender steak, slow-cooked in rich sauce, that will melt-in-your-mouth. Served with mash, tenderstem broccoli and gravy.
• Macaroni Pie (Vegetarian) – A cheesy delight with a golden crust. Served with chips and a jug of cheese sauce.

Valentine's is a day to celebrate love... and we loved to offer our guests a special menu to commemorate the day. The night commenced with a glass of fizz, and the Valentine's Feast included an 800g sharing Tomahawk steak between two, served with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, Koffman fries, onion rings, a side salad, and of course a generous serving of peppercorn sauce. To end the night on a sweet note we had chocolate-dipped strawberries.
